The state of the art has to rely upon the actual literature and empirical work data available. The aim is to find and summarise work in the area that has been done so far; and to find information about variables and criteria for the assessment of LQ from a psychological and social science perspective.

Besides hints in literature should be found about how assessment results concerning LQ can be considered effectively and efficiently, with special focus on the area of transport and mobility. In addition it has to be checked which different groups are taken care of in literature. Parametres that are usually applied to describe and to asses LQ will be listed. The literature study provides valuable data for the evaluation of the sites.

In addition it will made transparent what are the complementarities of ASI with what LUTR is doing. Communication between ASI and the LUTR-Cluster continues all along this work-package and all the following work steps.

Study of publications, internet search concerning parameters for LQ, LQ in connection with transport and mobility, instruments for measuring LQ
Study of grey literature that is, among other things, available at the involved institutes
Evaluation of the studied literature
Summary of the variables and criteria for the assessment of LQ
Transparence of complementarities of ASI with what LUTR is doing → Communication between ASI and the LUTR-Cluster
Development of a first frame for the evaluation for the sites and for the experts interviews
